Unity versions distribution in The Top 100 grossing mobile games for the USA
I did research and am glad to share interesting facts with you. From the top 100, I counted 66 Unity games. More about it.

Let's see Unity versions are used in the games:
- Unity 2021.3 version holds 62%
- Unity 2020.3 version holds 23%
- Unity's older versions hold 15%
Fitstly I am impressed by the fact that Unity 2022 LTS has not been used yet in September 2023. You can read the 2022 LTS Long-Term Support Release Overview.
Secondly, I am impressed to see old Unity versions like 2019, 2018, and even 5.6 in the result and I believe companies spend additional resources to decrease the gap between platform market changes year over year and Unity engine capabilities. Because Unity stopped supporting it for free.
